INTRODUCING MAYOOR PATELBorn in Uganda and came to England in the exodus of 1972
Educated at Marlborough College , universities of Surrey and London with professional qualifications from Chartered Institute of Insurers –CII.
Set up successful retail and property business...syndicates for large investment projects.
Set up professional practice in financial services....speciality alternative income streams.
Co-founded Robinson Sterling group and the longest running Business Builder Forum (BBF) in south of England .
Founded and set up the international charity Polio Children (Giving Hope and Dignity) with his brothers Arun Patel (a polio victim) and Dr Shirish Patel....a charity with a royal seal of approval.
He has grown up with polio ....besides Arun , a niece and a cousin have polio as did a couple of his school mates.
For almost 10 years he supported a polio project in Uganda and did not realise so till he set up Polio Children in 2002 when he coincidently received a letter from the project !
Mayoor serves as an advisor to Shravana ( a charity Giving Children Joy of Hearing and Speech) project of Little Drops Charity , Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) Manchester, Polio Children USA, on board of MSAE ( Maharishi School) , Chaklasi Association of UK etc and is currently helping to set up Polio Children Canada.
He is extremely passionate about organic farming , education and meditation for children and affortless learning and Being. Enjoys making money for other people .
He is married to Subhdra and they have a daughter aged 12 who at five became the youngest ambassador of Polio Children .
